Aurora – The Gods We Can Touch
Aurora The Gods We Can Touch Track List
The Gods We Can Touch is the third studio album by Norwegian pop singer Aurora, released on January 21, 2022 via Decca Records and Glassnote Records. The singer began her work on the new album in November 2019, shortly after the release of A Different Kind of Human (Step 2). The Gods We Can Touch is a magnificent and provocative sass about shame, forbidden desires and morality, shown through the prism of Greek mythology. Each of the 15 songs on the album features one of the ancient gods. In Exist For Love, this is the goddess of beauty and love, Aphrodite. In Heathens, we meet Persephone, the Queen of the Damned, and in This Could Be A Dream, Morpheus, the god of dreams. Peyto demonstrates his art of seduction and persuasion in A Dangerous Thing. The ancient Greeks had their own gods and goddesses for everything. And from the moment they appeared, they were human, tangible, and most importantly, they had flaws, like ordinary people. The Gods We Can Touch was preceded by six singles – Exist for Love, Cure for Me, Giving in the Love, Heathens, A Dangerous Thing and Everything Matters, released two weeks before the album's release, featuring French singer Pomme. To promote the new album, Aurora has announced a joint concert tour with American singer-songwriter Sub Urban, who plans to visit the United States in 2022. A UK and European tour is also planned from February to April 2022.
