Crisis of Faith is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Billy Talent, released on January 21, 2022 via Spinefarm Records. Billy Talent was formed in 1993 by lead vocalist Benjamin Kowalewicz, guitarist Ian D'Sa, bassist Jonathan Gallant and drummer Aaron Solowoniuk. Over the entire period of its existence, no changes have been made in the composition of the team. The only exception is that Aaron Solowoniuk is currently undergoing treatment for recurrent multiple sclerosis and is being replaced by Jordan Hastings. The first single Forgiveness I + II was presented to the public on November 26, 2019. It most vividly reflected the stylistic changes in the sound of the group and demonstrated elements of progressive rock with the use of synthesizers and saxophone solos. It is the band's longest song to date. On January 24, 2020, Billy Talent released the radio single Reckless Paradise, a signature post-hardcore sound the band hasn't used since 2016. On April 3, 2020, another single appeared, titled I Beg to Differ (This Will Get Better). After a long lull, on September 10, 2021, the release date of the album was announced and the presentation of the next single End of Me with the participation of vocalist Weezer Rivers Cuomo took place. The song became the # 1 hit in Canada and the most successful single in Billy Talent's career. Crisis Of Faith was produced by guitarist and main songwriter Ian D'Sa and mixed by legendary Chris Lord-Alge.
