Hexed is the tenth studio album of the Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom, released March 8, 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records. This is the first album recorded with the participation of new guitarist Daniel Freyberg (Norther). On November 28, 2018, the exact release date was announced, including 11 new songs, as well as three bonus tracks played at touring concerts. For the cover of the Children of Bodom invited the Russian artist Denis Forkas. The cover is made in purple tones, and in the center is death with a scythe. It is very different from the digital covers that everyone is used to in previous albums, even the familiar Reaper looks mysterious and at the same time very ominous. December 7, 2018 on the official YouTube channel Nuclear Blast Records a video for the song Under Grass And Clover was presented. On February 1, 2019, the second single, This Road, was released; the lyric video for this song was also published on the label's channel on YouTube. Hexed will be available in CD and LP format.
