Mother – the seventh studio album of American heavy metal band In This Moment was released on March 27, 2020 via Atlantic Records and Roadrunner Records. The project was produced by the famous Canadian musician, sound engineer and composer Kevin Churko. Mother became a harmonious continuation of their favorite album Ritual, 2017. On October 14, 2018, backing vocalist of the group Chris Howorth announced on his Instagram page that he began work on a new album. January 22, 2020 on YouTube the premiere of the music video The In-Between, featuring vocalists In This Moment Maria Brink and Randy Weitzel. At the same time, the official name of the album was announced, its release date, and a track list was presented. The premiere of the second single, titled Hunting Grounds featuring Joe Cotela from Ded, took place on February 21, 2020. And a week before the release of the album, on March 19, 2020, the group presented their third single – As Above, So Below.
