Love + Fear – the fourth studio album of the Welsh singer Marina, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds, was released on Atlantic Records. The new album is divided into two equal parts of eight tracks, each of which explores the theory of psychologist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross that people are able to experience only two emotions. The first part of the album – Love was presented to the public on April 4, 2019, and the second – Fear on April 26, 2019. According to. Love embodies the desire to enjoy life, the desire to unite and expand their capabilities, and Fear shows uncertainty, sadness and raises issues of gender inequality and abuse of power. The recording of the album took place over two years in London, Sweden and Los Angeles. The main producer was Joel Little, a New Zealand singer and songwriter, a former guitarist and frontman for the punk band Goodnight Nurse. The album was attended by guest stars – Jack Patterson, Grace Chatto (Clean Bandit) and Mark Ralf.
