Victorious – the tenth studio album of the American Christian rock band Skillet, was released on August 2, 2019 via Atlantic Records. After completing the tour in support of the previous Unleashed album, in February 2019, Skillet began work on a new album. During the Russian Tour 2019, held from April 8 to April 28 in 13 cities, the group presented 2 new songs – Legendary and Rise Up. On May 8, 2019 the band officially unveiled the lyric video for the single Legendary. It includes excerpts of the performance of the song from the filming of concerts in the cities of Russia. Throughout its existence, the style of the group has changed several times. The first compositions were written in the style of post-grunge, then the group shifted to industrial metal. The last four albums are written in the style of alternative rock. However, this did not prevent the group from becoming a two-time Grammy nominee. On August 11, 2019, Skillet kicked off a tour in support of the new album along with another American metal band, Sevendust, which began in Memphis, the band's hometown.
