Lover, the seventh studio album by Taylor Swift, an American singer and songwriter, was released on August 23, 2019 via Republic Records and Taylor Swift Producer's own label. In addition to the standard version of the album, four deluxe versions were released, each of which contains a CD, two bonus audio recordings and an empty magazine, with various bonus contents of old Swift diary entries, photographs and posters. The album cover, which depicts Swift among pastel clouds with the word Lover in the center, was done by 24-year-old Colombian artist Valheria Rocha. Following an established tradition, a few weeks before the release of the album, Swift invited a select group of fans to private listening parties called Secret Sessions in London, Nashville and Los Angeles. In anticipation of the release, the singer entered into an agreement with Amazon, and the cover of the new Lover album was featured on some e-commerce leader delivery packages. An exclusive playlist was presented at Spotify on August 20, 2019, and the next day Swift presented a collection of clothing and accessories developed in collaboration with designer Stella McCartney. Taylor Swift's world tour in support of the new album is scheduled for the first half of 2020.
