The composition "Always On My Mind" by the group Emigrate with the participation of Till Lindermann became the highlight of the new album "The Persistence of Memory" by German rock musicians and made a lot of noise. The song became the fourth cover of the famous hit. According to Richard Kruspe, initially he did not plan to invite Lindermann to record the track, but having received a refusal to use the original song by Elvis Presley, he started arranging the hit. Then the idea of a duet was born. The classic song acquired not only a new sound, but also a completely different, sometimes sarcastic, mood. From the first minutes with an energetic rhythm, guitar riffs, drums, Lindermann's extreme noble bass and a mocking female voice with the phrase “yes, of course”, the song transformed into a modern rock composition with a gothic flavor.
